Local Living Co. was born out of a love for style, design, and authenticity.

It all started when I found out I was pregnant with our son, Harris. We were renting a one bedroom apartment at the time and knew we’d quickly outgrown that space. After looking at what felt like a hundred houses, I realized that I am, indeed, just as particular as my mom always said I was.

So we decided to build something small, and make it exactly what we wanted.

I started with an inspiration photo of a small carriage house and began to envision and design the space we would come to call home. I’ve always loved the art of styling an interior, and building our home really awakened the love I had for building design as well. From my shoes to my shiplap walls, I’m a lover of style, design, and authenticity. And Chris happens to be incredibly gifted at bringing my visions to life.
